Em 2000, o projecto Enigma ressurgia com este "The Screen Behind The Mirror", quando já parecia que o desgaste e opções desta sonoridade "New Age" tinha chegado a um beco sem saída, Michael Cretu adiciona um novo elemento: samples de "Carmina Burana" de Carl Orff em quatro faixas do álbum.
O destaque principal neste registo recai sobre a "Gravity of Love”, que é uma canção electrónica magnífica (uma das melhores de sempre dos Enigma), apresentando-se arraçada de trip-hop (uma outra novidade no som Enigma) e que é potenciada ainda mais pelo seu video esplenderoso, que é visualmente ousado e cativante, em ambientes boémios de luxúria e orgiásticos. Uma maravilha visual que incide sobre a fé pagã perante a transgressão libertina.
Ficou-me sempre associado este video ao imaginário do derradeiro filme de Stanly Kubrick "Eyes Wide Shut / De Olhos Bem Fechados" (1999). Na verdade o videoclip até parece um resumo da viagem pelo mundo obscuro da personagem de Tom Cruise... (e mais direi sobre isto um dia destes - stay tunned!).
Gravity Of Love é um dos grandes momentos altos do projecto Enigma.
